As its name would suggest, the Beach Rest was positioned close to the sand and surf, about one-half block from the Boardwalk. The small but charming motel disappeared quietly after the 2005 season.

The Blue Diamond was originally known as the Rossi Jos Motel, a play on words of the names of its owners (who also were affiliated with the Caribbean Motelat one time). The motel eventually changed its name to the Bird of Paradise Motel, which continues to operate to this day.

Another of the nicer ocean front motels in North Wildwood, The Coral Reef has now been converted into condos, keeping it's classic exterior. The Motel features a simple design and layout similar to it's neighbor, The Ocean Spray, but featuring a partial third floor and upper sun deck and a carport in the buiding's design. The Motel had a yellow and white color scheme in the 70s which incorporated palm trees and a seahorse silhouette on all of the room doors as well as on the side of the building and it's rooftop light up sign. It also had a sign on 7th Ave side of the building. Like it's neighbors, it also sports a rectangular shaped pool. At one point, the old motel's office had been used as a beach and surf supply shop and is being used as retail space.
