The Ocean East complex was unique in that it consisted of two structures from different eras, forged into one 'modern' entity. The older of the two buildings predated Doo Wop, originally serving as a rooming house. The younger portion featured a more traditional 'motel-style' look. The Ocean East's large rooftop neon sign was saved prior to the demolition of both buildings after the 2005 season.
