Yet another of the smaller motels that disappeared off of the Surf Avenue strip during the "condo boom" years, the Anchorage was known later in its existence as Lisa's Family Motel.

Avanti Motel

While the Crest lost many high-profile motels during the 'condo boom' of the early 2000s, several others disappeared very quietly and with little fanfare. The diminutive Avanti, unfortunately, was one of the latter.

Historic Register: The Avanti was located in the Crest's Historical Motel District.
