Aladdin Motel
208 E. Forget-Me-Not Road
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260

(609) 522-0333

The Aladdin was having the rooms gutted in the spring of 2006. It looked like they were "going condo". One good point is that it looked like they were leaving the outside style alone.

All Star Motel
5501 Ocean Ave.
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260

(609) 522-6845

The story on "The All Star Motel" (fact or fiction) was that some of the original owners in the early 1960's were Sonny Jurgensen, Tommy McDonald and Pete Retzlaff of the Philadelphia Eagles and Curt Simmons of the Phillies as well as local Wildwood legend Eugene "Scoop" Taylor...thus "All Stars". There was also a supposed affiliation with the landmark Schumann's Resturant.

Alps Resort Motel
7100 Seaview Avenue
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260

(609) 522-9289

In the summer of 2007, the Alps' rooms were gutted and were transforming into condos. The neon sign still remains but the exterior does not have the Doo Wop look.

American Safari Motel
5610 Ocean Avenue
Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260

(609) 522-0157

Originally known simply as the Safari Motel, the American Safari is a longtime favorite on the northern end of Wildwood Crest's Ocean Avenue strip. It is most notable for its unique animal theme, eye-catching bright yellow-and-white color scheme and Neo-Doo Wop roadside sign (which replaced a plastic backlit version in 2006).

Historic Register: Located in the Doo Wop Historic District.
